[Hallicrafters] Strange issue with my S-38A

I got a nice little setup in my garage and finally set my S-38A up in
there to begin restoring it cosmetically. I did all the electrical
stuff. It worked fine before I moved but after I moved and got
everything set up every station I pull in sounds all garbled or
scrambled. I have a recording of it here,

Does anyone know why it is doing that? It either sounds gabled like
that, really faint, or there may be one or two stations that come in
clear. Like the Canada station or the religious station from LA.
