The transformer voltages are listed at the plate of the 5Y3 in the SX-71 at
280 VAC and at 290 VAC in the SX-43.
The SX-71 powers 11 6 volt filament tubes, the SX-43 powers 10 6 volt
filament tubes.
The 5Y3 rectifier is common to both.
Sam's lists the same Stancore number for both units P-6313.

Subject: RE: [Hallicrafters] SX43 vs SX71 power trans swap
Hello group, I have a SX-43 that I am trying to restore, bad power
transformer...I also have a junker chassis to a SX-71 that is good...have
not tore into the SX-71 yet but was wondering if the voltage requirements,
that is, the transformer is interchangeable? Any ideas... have schematic of
the SX43 but not the SX-71 ... thanks in advance
73, Tim K8WBL
