Hi Tim,
Just a quick from the hip thought, there are several more (and bigger)
tubes in the SX-43, the filament requirements at least, will be more than
in the SX-71, and probably the B+ voltage and/or current different/higher.
Gary Brown can rewind your bad xfmr, does a beautiful job, reasonable
price. I'm just a satisfied customer, no other relationship.
