[Hallicrafters] SX-62 Dial Stringing

I just finished restringing the pointer dial on my SX-62. All in all, it
wasn't as bad a job as I had feared. I learned a few things that might help
anyone who does this job in the future:

    1. Run a google search for "SX-62" "dial" "string". There's a nice SX-62
page that has some tips from T.C. Dailey that are invaluable.

    2. Remember that there are two separate dial strings: one for the tuning cap
and one for the pointer.

    3. Do not rely on the instructions in Rider's, Vol. 20. They're confusing
and probably flat-out wrong. The Run 2 manual on BAMA has the best instructions.
They're clear and accurate.

    4. If you remove the row of dial lights nearest the tuning cap, it will give
you a lot more hand room. You won't have to remove the front panel.

    5. Cleaning the two surfaces along which the dial point slides can reduce
friction considerably and make the pointer action much smoother.

    Just my 2 cents worth.
