[Hallicrafters] Investing nonsense

I don't 'collect'......
I use.
Everything I have works, although some of it didn't or just sorta worked
when I got it.
Nothing here is on a shelf looking good.....it is in use or waiting its turn
to be used....but it still looks good!

I don't invest, I collect!  I have never SOLD a radio thus far. I have
given a few away though. That said, I would love the opportunity to

This seems to happen in the market for most old "collectables".
There's 
always a bubble followed by more reasonable prices.  It happens a lot
in 
collector cars. Investing in ANY collectable is VERY speculative.

In my opinion, given the VERY limited marketplace, in old ham gear,
it's crazy.

That in mind, it's not stopped be from amassing quite an array of
gear, but 
if it all goes in the landfill tomorrow, I've gotten my moneys worth
of 
enjoyment out of it all.
