I think the chimney you want is the one for the 3-400Z - not 3-500Z. But, at the same time I have never been sure if the bigger tube and chimney would fit in place of the original set of parts.

I am a long time user of the HT-45 Mark IIA along with its matching P-45 Power Supply. I run it with an SX-117 and HT-44 receiver and transmitter. A great classic station!!
