OK, the SX-43 I am restoring also has some mods done, the rectifier tube was
replaced with a plug in diodes installed in the bottom of the tube socket,
common, I have seen these many times before...but also next to it are 2 OA2
regulator tubes...a good mod I think but is this documented somewhere?
Also...since the power transformer is bad, looking at it compared the other
SX-43 I have reveals its likely a replacement l...AND..this transformer has
a variable pot built in to the top of it...have not seen that before...and
it is not a mod to the transformer...so...someone replaced the transformer
before with a variable one and added the 2 regulator tubes...so far that's
the only obvious mods...needs recapped as well...actually both SX-43's
do....I have seen on Ebay at times recap kits...its there a web site I can
get these from?

Thanks in advance,,,
