[Hallicrafters] Halli-spotting in old war flicks

I've seen the referenced photo used in a Hallicrafters
ad in (I think) QST or maybe Radio News, from about
May or June 1942.  I have wondered if it was real or
some kind of paste-up, because if you look at it
really closely, the shadows don't seem quite
consistent around the table with the radio and the guy
tuning it, compared to the rest of the picture.  And
the clearest thing in the picture is the Sky Buddy...
not to mention the product placement.

This is not in any way intended to make light of or
belittle the tremendous sacrifices made by the gallant
defenders of the Philippines.
