[Hallicrafters] FS: S-108

I have a really nice S-108 Hallicrafters that needs a good home. I have
replaced all the bad capacitors, checked the resistors and done a
realignment. I also checked the electrolytic and it checks good for values
and leakage. This receiver is close to a 9 on the 10 scale. All the front
panel and chassis screws are the original (hard to believe). Receives on all
bands. Clean inside and out. Some minor scratches on the cabinet. And, this
receiver has all the original Hallicrafters logo tubes. These tubes have
been tested and all test good to excellent. All original knobs and no chips.
Dial cords don't slip. Has the original paper label on the bottom with all
four push pins. Label is not ripped. By the looks of this receiver, I would
say, a none smoker had it and was used very little. Also comes with manual.
I believe it is a copy but looks like an original. I have pictures on
request. Looking for best offer over $120.00. I know, a tad high but this
one is a beauty. Shipping is extra.
