[Hallicrafters] Join HCI 40 Meter Saturday Net!

Please join us on Saturday March 25th for the Hallicrafters Collectors 
International 40 meter Net.

The pre-Net will commence at/about 12:30 PM EST, (1730 UTC) and the Net 
proper starts at 1:00 PM EST, (1800 UTC).

The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and 
hopefully check ins from adjacent states instead of Wendi The Wandering 
Whale from somewhere in the North Atlantic. Not that I minded the rather 
unusual QSO with a Whale working as a Mobile Marine Mannal, but she had a 
habit of talking with her mouth full of sea water. She was only a Q2 because 
she was spitting out three words between straining the edible plankton and 
sardines out and squirting the ocean liner refuse, crude from an oil tanker 
leak, plastic byproducts from mankind and things we do not yet have words 
for in our vocabulary, through the spacious gaps between her bicuspids! Does 
the ARRL have a catagory for a country that is moving?

The dialogue about Moby Dick, her eighth cousin, and what really happened to 
Captain Mohab was truly inspiring. Did you know that that killer Whale at 
Sea World is actually a Disney Anamatronic creation? Remember Abraham 
Lincoln at the 1964 Worlds Fair in NYC where Abe first stood up and did his 
recitation? Hiring the Disney Imagineers was far cheaper than feeding the 
real Killer Whale five tons of jumbo shrimp per day! Have you ever heard a 
Whale burp? My ears are still ringing and bits of the speaker cone are still 
to be found!

Join us on Saturday for a whale of a good time as we fish facts about 
Hallicrafters from the depths of Davey Jones locker and drift from topic to
