Chuck even says in his book that he will buy any Hallicrafters he get
a chance to regardless if he already has several of those models. He
uses the extra radios as a source of spare parts for future
restoration projects. I would guess by now he must have a warehouse
full of spare parts radios.

If not for so-called hoarding, we never would have had the archival

Chuck Dachis' collection... or perhaps even this reflector, itself.
Speaking of that - I do have a "Spare" SX-62A, if somebody's
interested.
It's in Denver, and I have no box for it - hard enough to find one for
an
SX-71 that's been promised to RivPapa for some time.
