Hmm,
Guess I'll never be a hoarder, it's kind of hard in a 14x11 radio room that
must also serve as a music practice room, radio shop, etc. 8^) My wife has
an expression about my radios, "They Cometh and they Go-eth".
Here the "hoard" of VINTAGE radios presently consists of National models
NC-60, NC-188, just completed NC-183 and a Yaesu "Frog-7". Yes I consider
the Yaesu vintage as it's a pre-PLL Wadley loop design, is large/heavy for
SS, and with three SEPARATE tuning dials (Preselector, MHz Loop Lock and
VFO) more like driving a "stick shift" than an automobile with an automatic.
Maybe I ought to sell my "VERY RARE" National NC-60 and NC-188 receivers and
pay off that new truck I bought last December LOL.
