The ONLY way **I** would run an S-38 or S-41G is through an isolation 
transformer AFTER I made Kirk's mods, and added a three wire line 
cord with the green wire connected to the outer case.

But then again, if I were an engineer (I need about 20 credits to finish), 
I would be one of those "belt and suspenders" types...
