If someone (or some bot) links to your websites' articles and pics and
pastes it into a "search engine page" with no credit given, is that not also
breach of copyright?
I'm sick to death of googling for some information on a particular radio and
finding hundreds of sites claiming to "have it", only to find its some sort
of search linking thing.
Have a look at http://www.ham.dmz.ro which is a good case in point.
Scanned pictures and articles sourced elsewhere appear to be presented "as
if" they are the work of the webmaster.
It draws people in with the promise of a manual for their amateur gear in
PDF format, only to find that it goes around and around with no manual link
anywhere. Not so much a BA thing, but you will see what I'm talking about.
I was after a manual for my Yaesu FC-707. See if you can download it from
their link! http://www.ham.dmz.ro/antenna_tuners/yaesu/fc-707.php
You will see how frustrating it can get. It seems as though there are many
sites like this now.
