Yep, we contesters use YOUR underutilized frequencies 15 weekends a year, 
that is 29% of the available weekends or 8% of the total operating time.
10 and 15Meters were hopping during the CW and Fone contests. This is the 
bottom of the sunspot cycle...those bands are no good!!!!
Any of you "lets compare medications" guys try 30, 17 or 12 meters this 
weekend, or do you only have crystals for 20M?
Contesting is attitude....maximizing operating skills and equipment.  2KW 
and a tower will not beat QRP and a dipole used with the right grit.....
Hams push the envelope, they don't whine......try it you might like it...
