[Hallicrafters] EC-1A Paint

Well  the EC1A is working..sort of..except for band 3. What a mess 
somebody made of it. I think there was every brand of capacitor known to 
man just tacked in. Oh well...what do you expect for 10.00.

Now for the paint. This thing has been painted 3 or 4 times over the 
years. CAn some one tell me what the original EC 1A color was. I know 
the s41G was grey..wondered if the Echophone model was the same, or some 
shade of black.
