Please join us on Saturday June 17th for the HCI 40 meter Net and also to 
help us express our thanks to the men who were the founding father's of 
radio. In our case, William Halligan, Sr. the founder of the Hallicrafters 
Company.

The pre-Net will commence at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645 UTC). The Net proper starts 
at 1:00 PM EDT, (1700 UTC). The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key 
clicks, mike splatter and various assorted dialects of oral dribble that 
puts one in mind of a babbling brook.

Power up that vintage rig. You'll know when its ready to go, as those tubes 
with a vacuum will begin to glow! So drift on by and say Hi! Was your father 
a Ham, if so tell us about how he got you focused on radios instead of toy 
electric trains, baseball or football and teenage girls. Here's hoping for 
some short skip tomorrow.
