Keep in mind too, that he's been removed/suspended from ebay before.

'Blanket Party' comes to mind when I think of invitations. Not because
I don't blame myself for being a bit too trusting (but then, I did pay
for the lesson), more because of the few that make me distrusting or
at the very least, skeptical of dealing with most any stranger.
