Louis -

When you reply, look right below the To: or Cc: box. 'Edit Subect' is
right there, clicking it will bring up the subject box for editing.
You can put in a new subject, then respond to the text in the email or
digest that you want to quote, then DELETE the remainder. I did so on
this post, it's a piece of cake and probably easier than trying to
remember it all whilst retyping a new email.
