First off - ANY code-practice is GOOD.  My personal recommendation for NG's
learning it, is the Code Tutor by that three-lettered radio company.  That
little bugger works really well, and got my buddy up to 15wpm, from
nuthin'... and it DOESN'T repeat itself, unless you're using the
pre-programmed stuff.  A great value, and often found on swaplists for
reasonable investments.  Now, get a receiver, and listen to W1AW bcsts!  If
you can copy well in THE NOISE, then you can copy well for a test, or
on-the-air.  I was lucky - being a USN Radioman, I got lots of practice
(22wpm to get out of "A" school), but folks don't get to do that much,
anymore.
