I love it.

My first radio was an S-77A, and at age of ten or eleven I was convinced
that no self respecting SWL'er had a radio without an S-meter.
With zero knowledge of electronics I proceeded to pester everyone I knew
about adding an S-meter to the S-77.
The most common response was "what for?" I even bought an S-meter for it,
but I never figured out how to connect it.

That old S-77A is sitting on a shelf. One day it will be recapped and
brought back into service. Thanks to Don and Bill, it will finally get an
S-meter.

Happy New Year

Jim
