[Hallicrafters] Remember HCI Saturday 40 Meter Net

Saturday February 25th join the HCI 40 meter Net. The pre-Net will commence at
12:45 PM EST, (1745 UTC) and the Net proper at 1:00 PM EST, (1800 UTC). 	
	
The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and
somebody running some kind of data 3 KHz up the band that sounds like a sump
pump giving birth to a sewage treatment facility! When I first started to play
with dry waves, as opposed to wet ones that are associated with swimming,
surfing, sunburn and sexy females wearing a Morse Code bikini, two dots and a
dash, there was this odd noise on the old 1940 Zenith that sounded somewhat like
this racket, but then in 1959 it was facsimile.	
	
I hope to hear you tomorrow above the sound of this super sump pump doing
whatever it is doing out there somewhere sucking up stuff, possibly political
run off, but where is it spitting this out at anyhow? Hopefully around 27 MHZ!
