Hi DW,
I see you've already got some good replies, I'll add my 2cts. The
HT-37, to my mind, is essentially an HT-32 that's had the filter type
sideband generator replaced by one that is a phasing type. They made it
easy to do, as the 2 generators are modular. It also has been given the
(slight) weight reduction treatment to lessen the price, it has a fairly
flimsy, from BA stds, cabinet. Be careful when removing/replacing the
chassis, it's easy to damage a HV filter choke mounted on the rear edge.
Also if you don't know any history on it, put some heat under it for a
cupla days, and start it at somewhat reduced AC voltage. The power xfmrs
are prone to developing internal shorts. They seem to "draw moisture" and
act with inappropriate manners.
You can see some more, plus comparison thoughts on my website:

K9EID cks into the Vintage SB net regularly using one when he's at
home. You expect his stuff to have great audio, this one shows off his
microphones well. (unsolicited/unpaid remarks)
I use the HT-32 regularly on that net, with good audio reports and it
has great stability.
They are well designed and built, you'll learn a lot going thru either
one. It's not a hard task, but there's a lot of circuitry.
