[Hallicrafters] S38 Front end

It's been a while since I've been inside S-38, (no suffix), but if I
remember right, that first model had both ends adjustable, trimmers for the
bottom end and padders for the top end. I'll have to get that out and look.
BTW, I got this S-38 new in 1947 while in High School, from a mail order
house in Chicago. I think the name of it was Concord Radio.
