Ron,
My first message on this site since I may finally have something substantive to contribute so bear with me.

I had a similar dilemma after recently buying an SR-150 on line. My 1/4 inch Electro-voice Mic plug was just no match for that funny looking connector. After doing some on-line research, I determined that it the subject connector is an "Amphenol 80MC2M" (male Mic connector). A Google Search reveals a price of at least $15 at a variety of sources. I gladly solicit other Halli-lover's inputs on where to buy such a rare beast at a reasonable price. In the meantime, I successfully created a 5 inch long "adapter" using the well (ab)used connector from the handheld Mic that came with the rig along with a $4.00 Radio Shack stainless steel 1/4 inch socket (good soldering refresher course).
