Another part of this equation is the silkscreen information for front
panel lettering and markings.  I do not know anything about this
process, but if someone has gone through the work to generate a
professionally done silkscreen mask for redoing the front panel(like the
current work for the SX-42) of various equipment it would be great to
have a library of this information saved so that it could be reused and
the contact information of the person if so that the expenses of the
original could be reduced.

I've never repainted a boatanchor (I probably should) but I've been
following this thread with considerable interest.

Would it be possible to collect the color formulas (by company, I
presume) that members of this community have found to be excellent
matches for the various cabinets and panels.  The collected wisdom could
be posted in the "Restoration Tips" segment.
