[Hallicrafters] HT37 problems solved (?)

Congrats, Joe!

Getting and keeping these old boatanchors running can be a pain, but it's
worth it with the fun of using them on the air!

You will probably find sideband suppression doesn't match that of filter
type rigs, but it is quite usable. I get about 25 db average suppression as
I sweep an audio signal through the mic input from 300 to 3000 hz and check.
I can get 40 db of suppression at "spot" frequencies but not across the
entire audio spectrum.

Hope to work you HT-37 to HT-37 one of these days. I also have a Drake 2B
with 2BQ Q-mult, it's one receiver I'll keep forever!

Pulled a pair of 12AT7's out of my regenerative receivers, the Space Spanner
and the Explor-air and put them in the HT37....lo and behold I can now null
 the carrier with both controls!!
