[Hallicrafters] HT37 problems

I have heard a lot of bad things about Black Beauty capacitors.

I am wondering if any are used in the HT37 and how does one identify a Black 
Beauty cap???

Are there any distinctive markings or colorings that make these caps readily 
identifiable???

In my HT37 there are five large black capacitors (believe they are 
capacitors) that have markings like resistors.....are these the infamous 
"Black Beauties"?

If so believe I should replace them soonest.
