[Hallicrafters] SX-42 paint Schemes

 have a question about paint schemes of the SX-42. I have seen some SX-42's with grey cabinets, and some with black. The same with front panels, Some are grey, and some a brownish color. Were ther different paint schemes used with this model, or have they been repainted. I would think the front panels would be difficult to refinish without silk screening on new lettering. All of the models I have seen look original. (Not New) Can anyof you historians out there shed some light on this?
