[Hallicrafters] Ham Comms in NewOrl

I'm not much for NPR (National Leftist Radio), but I have to give 'em this
one - they were the FIRST to comment on hams providing communications when
there was NO other comms.... and in a very positive light.  Nice treat.  On
the other hand, I heard NOTHING from the other networks... except the
constant phrase "There are no communications AT ALL, here".  As we all know,
I'm sure... there have been nets on since BEFORE the hurricane hit, and are
still operating on 14.265, 3.873, and others.  Where is the ARRL?  This is
the opportunity for a PR coup' of great magnitude, and we hear nothing from
them, at last report.  ...doin' my part, as best I can.
