[Hallicrafters] Tube Socket Connections

Is there any know way to tighten the contacts in a 7 pin tube socket.  I
have been working with a transmitter trying to get it to work and find that
when I press down on the 9 mc (sorry but this is a boat anchor made before
Hz were invented) amplifier tube it will work.  If I just wiggle the tube a
little it stops working.  I really don't want to replace the tube socket,
but if I have to it's probably one of the easier ones to replace.
