Try using aerosol equipment degreaser. It's made by
several companies, including Rite-Off and (I think) GC
Industries.

This stuff should be quite safe on circuitry but do
NOT let it get on the plastic dials. I'm not sure
what would happen, nor would I want to find out.

Don't "hose" the chassis; work on one small area at a
time. You will have to do some scrubbing with cotton
swabs and/or soft rags, but the radios should clean up
nicely.

When you get done, the SR-150 will amaze you on
receive because it is so quiet. At first you might
even think "it's not working" -- but is sure is!
These rigs have the lowest noise level of any tube
type receiver I have ever heard, and that includes
quite a few.
