Time to start restoring/aligning a couple of old SR-150s I recently purchased but first wanted to get a few suggestions. Both are surprisingly functional without "scratchy" switches/pots and all knobs turn as they should. Appears to be no need for contact cleaner so leave well enough alone?? 

As expected they have collected dust and grime over their 45+ years of life (primarily topside). I've blown them out with compressed air which helped a bit but much grit remains. Should I sparingly use some soap and water, glass cleaner, alcohol??? Start at one end and slowly apply with a small brush, paper towel, cotton cloth or ???  Any tips would be appreciated
