Having received one public and several private responses telling my that 
in one way or another I was all wet, I retract my suggestion.  (What on 
earth private responses to me do to help the guy with the problem I have 
no clue.)

Skip, you'd be best served by using ANY method OTHER THAN mine to fix 
the cover.  Once again, no good deed goes unpunished.
