I *think* the probe is exactly the same.  The connecting method is different:

The B model has a flat connecting plate with mini banana plugs for each probe..
all test leads are connected to the one connecting plate.. it usually attaches
on the underside of the front of bench mount instruments and on the face of
rack mount ones.

The C model has a connector (three-wire 1/4 inch phone plug of normal stereo
type) for the AC probe only.  IF you have a probe set for a B and want to use
it on your C, cut or unsolder the wire and install a phone plug,check the
filament voltage and your diode's needs and go for it.
