Gerry,
The screws on my SX-28 appear to be original. Can't be positive about that
because I wasn't around when they were made. They are #10-24 and are 5/8
inch long slotted pan heads with a satin black finish and a 0.382 inch
diameter head. Try McMaster-Carr part number
91793A244 at http://www.mcmaster.com. Those are stainless binding pan
heads. Too bad they aren't available in black. Also, it looks like they
sell them in quantities of 100. Maybe you can find 9 other SX-28 owners
who need full sets (ha). If you use these, be careful about starting them
because stainless screws can really eat metal if cross threaded.
