[Hallicrafters] S-38E Series Receivers

Just thought I would pass this along, I have (4) S-38E receivers and all of
them had dried out and cracked speaker cones.  Some worse than others.  Two
of these I used nail polish to seal the cracks, but the others needed
complete replacement.

Since these speakers are 5" in diameter and round, I knew it would be
difficult to find replacement speakers especially with the correct hole
locations for the fixed mounting studs in the cabinet.  But, I found perfect
replacements and only about $ 3.95 each.  Model TS-500.  I ordered 4 of
them.
