Have you seen that Radio Shack now sells Deoxit in a small container about the
size of a pen? It has a felt-tipped dispenser. In most sets, the dispenser can
get into the bandswitch and clean the contact surfaces nicely. (Bet it wouldn't
work with an SX-28, however!). I've used this dispenser to clean several
bandswitches recently and it worked well. It's a whole lot neater than spraying
in a load of tuner cleaner.
