[Hallicrafters] HT37 on the air!

Well, I finally got the Dow Key relay hooked along with the accessory socket 
wiring.

Put the HT37 on the air this morning on 40m and made several contacts with 
it on SSB.

Received excellent audio reports and the folks said the VFO didn't move one 
bit.

Very happy the VFO is so stable...it looked pretty good on the tech bench 
using my counter so it seems to be doing well on the air.

The Drake 2B receiver with the 2BQ is a great companion for the HT37....very 
sensitive with nice audio.

I haven't had a station on the air like this since the early 
70's.....haven't gotten used to having to zero beat a station before calling 
(grin)....guess I am too used to the new gear.

Hope to meet y'all on 40m SSB and look forward to checking into the 
Hallicrafters net on Saturday.
