had  the main fuse in my 25 yr old FT901DM  blow.  I  replaced it with  the 
same ...and it blew again.
 
Took it into a shop.....they replaced it....and it worked fine.  They  never 
found a problem.
Its been going strong  ever since.
 
It was suggested the line voltage may have been too high at the home  
qth...it goes to 128 volts at times.
