[Hallicrafters] 2 vs. 3 wire cord replacement

Another idea is to replace the strain relief with a grommet ( as someone else 
suggested) and then install a 1/4" hose clamp around with cord in the inside. 
Cutoff any excess of the clamp. Works fine and looks OK if done neatly.
