What I mean by "tywrap" is to put a large tywrap
around the cord just behind the opening.  Sometimes,
but not that often, I do secure the tywrap to the
chassis.  But, since the tywrap is larger than the
hole it will not pull through yet allows some "play"
which helps with the longevity of the wire.

So far, I haven't found any unit in which there was
not enough room to do this.
