[Hallicrafters] MODEL S36A

Dear Sir,

My dad just got his hands on a "Hallicrafters" S 36A radio, as he doesn't have a computer (nor does he want one, HA!!) I am wondering where to get a operation manual for this set (free if possible) and information on how to make up a antenna. Any information would be great help. I think he just wants to use it to listen, not to transmit.
