Yes, I concur;

It's interesting to note the intended audiance of the commercials during the
new Battlestar Galactica series -- middle age men -- as opposed to those of
the original series -- teenagers and early 20 types.

Of the three main shows on the sci-fi channel Friday night schedule,  I
really enjoy watching Stargate Atlantis.
