Actually, I suggested using either a 6.3 volt or a
12.6 volt filament transformer.  The 6.3 volt works
better with 3.2 ohm speakers and the 12.6 volt works
better with 8 ohm speakers.  You apply the primary to
the 500 ohm cnnections and the speaker to the
secondary winding.
