[Hallicrafters] Wanted: RME-6900 Main and SX-115 Cal Knobs

I think the term "rare" was coined with the RME 6900 main tuning knob in 
mind.  They are thick, heavy, spun aluminum.  It might be easier to take the 
old one in and have a machine shop make a "one off". Otherwise the main hope 
would be to find a junker for parts.

If you picked one up like I saw recently with a "spinner" added you might be 
able to get a shop to fill the hole with an aluminum screw and then finish 
it off to match the knob.  With luck they could do it so the repair wouldn't 
even show.

It's been a long time, but "I think" those knobs were hand turned to get the 
front curved surface.  I don't know how they put the grooves on the edges.

BTW, that RME6900 had the smoothest tuning of any rig I've ever owned.
