[Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters braiding for interconnecting cables

Does anyone know of a source for the brown woven cloth covering for 
interconnect cables.  In particular, I am refurbishing a DD-1 and one 
of the three cables is frayed and I would like to replace it.  Also 
(slim chance) does anyone have an "extra" bottom cover for a DD-1 power 
supply?  It is 7x16x1 inch box-like with chrome around the one inch 
edge.
