Yup, you're correct...The marketing of Krylon aerosol products is a confused 
effort and leaves much to be desired...The folks at Sherwin-Williams (who 
owns Krylon) haven't either the interest or the wherewithall to figure it 
out.

Having said that, the best "brick-and-mortar" source for the 1403 Dull 
Aluminum that I have found is the ACE Hardware chain...I've visited several 
locations in the Houston area (in search of Krylon 2206 Dark Anodized 
Bronze) and they all had the 1403 on the shelf.
