In the 1968, Vol VIII, edition of the ARRL Hints & Kinks, there is a
schematic for an ALC circuit for a HT-32B.  It samples the grid current of
the finals and uses a 6FH5 to amplify and control the grid of the driver.
Is there anyone out there who has had any experience with this or similar
circuits in a HT-32B?  Are they effective?  The author of this short article
claimed it was effect up to a setting of about 6 on the gain control with
his microphone.
