Be very careful when cleaning the band switch.  Use a Q-Tip or head cleaner 
and try not to let the cleaner get on the wafer itself, only the contacts.  
Some cleaners, De-Oxit in particular, may cause the wafers to swell and they will 
never revert to normal.  Needless to say, you are really in trouble if that 
happens. Never use a spray cleaner on any band switch unless it is ceramic.
